College Rugby League in Florida

Well they now have two college teams to choose from and anyone else eligible from the AMNRL. When is the next SWC?

I'm pretty sure its 2011, though it may have been pushed back to 2012. I believe Wales has already won the rights to that particular World Cup, but no reason why 2015/2016 couldn't be played in the USA.

USA competed in the 1996 and 1999 Tertiary Student RLWC's, and did reasonably well in 96 defeating Ireland and Japan.

I was thinking more in terms of just competing in the SWC rather than hosting it although that's a good possibility for the not too distant future.

RL in college in the USA is a way off yet. The biggeet factor is that RL is played in the USA during the summer when most college kids are on holidays.

There's nothing to stop a squad of "students" for the SWC though is there Spinner?
