WARNING - I am about to have a HUUGE whinge!
What a load of crap, Ok maybe Skandalis isn't up to being in the top 17 for NSW but not in the 30? Give me a break No one in the rugby league world takes this club seriously. WHAT THE HELL HAS BRENT KITE DONE? If playing a good game for city/country off the bench is the intinery for a state call up, WHERE THE HELL WAS SKANDOS IN 2002??????????????????????? This is a massive kick in the guts not only for the big fella but for the whole club.
Don't even get me started on Ben Hornby, Laurie Daley has too much influence on this team. When you sign with the Dragons upon handing you the famous Red V they also give you a ticket that says 'the bearer of this ticket is entitled to play Rep Footy ,can be used during a 12 month lay off for injury' If Hodgson isn;t a better player than this bloke Ill give it away, he was injured for last years Origin. Wasnt he NSW's best player in 2002? Shouldnt he be an automatic call-up now his fit??
Watch for Sattler and Prince not to play for QLD either. Even with Berrigan and Seymour out Prince won;t play. Paul Green to come out of retirement or Chris Walker to be named halfback. Both those are more chance than anybody we have.
Smart work by Benji selecting NZ. Message to Halatau and Harrison, if you want to play Rep footy down the track pick your homeland. To other potential future Rep players like Laffranchi and Gibbs better go through your bloodlines and hope you find some English or Kiwi somewhere. Robbie Farah I hope you enjoyed playing for Lebanon cause its the only rep teama you will represent.
How are we ever going to attract quality players to the club?
I know we are a lower team and no I don't have my orange, white and black sunnies on, but if an individual is performing to Rep standard they should be selected no matter who they play for!!
