thats true

we should get over the fact that we lost the game (which i believe we all have).

first off it was upsetting loosing the game, but it has now happened 2 days ago, the 2004 season is what we should set our sights on

Look at the upside of things. At least our loss gave the Goosters supporters something to gloat about and hang poo on us about.

That no try for the supposed double movement was hilarious,as soon as it went to the video ref,I knew they would cheat us....as I said, same sh*t every year.

According to the letter of the law, the NO-TRY decision was correct. After the ball arm hits the ground you are not allowed to move it. When the Penrith player was tackled his arm hit the ground. If he'd kept his arm still he would probably have slid over the try line and scored. Unfortunately he reached out with the ball to make sure it went over the line and this is a double movement.

...so there you have it, the video ref may have been pedantic with his interpretation of the rule, but it wasn't cheating.

As for Ganson and the off side kick chasers, he was reffing the same way for both teams, so Penrith could have employed the same tactics. Actually, Ganson is usually a lot worse than that. There were several times last season when he seemed to be inventing rules all of his own.
