Comments on Foxtel

During the halftime break the sideline commentator mentioned Hagan ripping into the players a few weeks ago. Apparantly some of the younger blokes had a dummy spit and have been sooking for weeks. This was the exact comment made by the foxtel commentator (can't remember his name).

I find it indcative of the players attitude this year and the application they've shown as a whole. Hagan hasn't earn't any respect from his soft approach. He either needs to make whole sale changes - 6 or 7 players dropped, or f**k off himself. There's been too much fart arsing around this year for this to continue, even at this stage with only 5 games to go. Show some bollocks Hagan you pissweak merkin!

Did anyone catch what the commentator said at half time. He said a couple of weeks ago Hagan gave the team a good spray and some of the younger players took offense and were sooking about it.

if its true then I don't know what hagan said to upset them - but they should have a word back if they feel wronged ... it'd be hard for a young guy to speak up when he feels wronged, but it'd be a step forward in the ball growing department

if u cant handle a spray from the coach for playing sh*t .. then you gotta ask yourself what your doing in first grade.. and how they survived playing for smith.. imagine if it was him instead of hagan

but hagan needed to be tough from the start anyway.. not be so soft and let the players do what they want without listening..

With the way Hagan has conducted himself for basically his entire career I highly doubt he has the capability to blast players, Id say it was someone like Rip Taylor who actually did it "on behalf" of Hagan

I'm a bit suss on what Raymond said....they way he mentioned the two weeks of sooking was almost an after thought. Yeah, sure, I can see a few guys copping a spray and not liking it....2 weeks of sooking is a different matter.

being think about those comments too,and a few things sprang to mind mainly the age difference between or forwards and back line.and they way the younger guys would take that sort of spray from the coach(he probably told to pull their heads out of their arses)
and got me thinking that might be the root cause of the lack of team cohesion with most of the experience being in the forwards and the younger guy forming there own little side group and opinions on the team performance

thats one of things i can put it down to cause we sure as hell aren't playing as team
