I locked the topic to prevent this type of thing happening - another long and protracted series of character assassinations that we saw last year on another site. I believe as a mod I have a responsibility to prevent that. But I also have a right to defend myself, and GoParra, you have done nothing but bag me this week. You started it by calling me a hypocrite. Strider, your form has been no better. I believe the words 'mindless twats' in reference to apost I made about Brian Smith and a particular stance I had toward his continued appointment.

A few posts down, GoParra started a personal attack. And my response, which he so kindly reprinted above, would not have come had he NOT launched that attack. We have not crossed paths for what, 6 months before that? My conduct has merely been a defensive one.

I guess, for whatever reason, it is clear that you 2 have a personal issue with me. I have asked that any personal issued be kept to the realms of the PM. The fact that no pm's have come sugests, maybe, that you want to keep it going, and public?

And remember that topic was not set up to character assassinate anyone, but to get people to calm down. If you 3 want to ignore that (which was endorsed by Colonel Eel BTW)

Finally, I am so far the only one who has apologised and retracted statements with this issue. I presume you lot find it beneath yourselves to take stock at your part in thsi debacle?

Again, I request that , in the interests of this site, take these issues out of the public eye, into where they should be, and let people get on with enjoying this forum.
