Armit Brothers wouldnt fit IMO. Dykes is a waste of time unless injury free, Vaealiki hasnt shown good form in years.

I always rated C Armit! Smith is a total dick wasting time with guys like Pearson and Stapleton. Every season we start off with new or underdeveloped players thanks to the bunch of pensioners filling first grade positions from the previous season.

Dykes actually had 12 Try assists and 8 line breaks compaired to Leluleui 0 and 0.

Vaealiki or Burt? Let me think!

I dunno why we let Vaealiki go, he may not have been in his best form, and he had a few quiet years which he had injuries and a 5 week suspension didn't help, but his defence was always rock solid, and would've been a much better option than Burt.

Anyway, I read on a website we signed Shaun Vidito from the Drags, 1st I've actually heard about signing him.

i always rated Armit as well and vomited every time i saw Perason on the field in a Parra jumper and thought of Armit sitting in PL???

Dykes...had his time and should have moved on and could come good again at Cronulla, neded to go

Witt...time will tell, but it upsets me

Thorman...see Witt

Vaealiki.....a very strange one in my opinion?????

also....don't you all see the alarming trend of this huge turnover of players to and from Parra at the end of each year???

it shouldn't happen and doesn't consistently happen at consistently successful clubs like the Broncos, Canterbury and the Roosters

they generally have a small turnover and make 3-4 major signings....where as we let go 1000's and sign 1000's.....doesn't help your team and club cohesion???

That's what I don't like either. That's a problem which needs rectifying for sure. When we had a have bad season we release a ton of players cause they are crap, when we have a good season we release a ton of players due to salary cap restraints.

exactly eels dude....thats not how you should run a club....

when i was a bit younger and when Brisbane and the Bulldogs and other clubs like Canberra were always successful, i used to wonder and think "why don't they ever sign or release more players"???

the answer they are better run clubs and when you are successful you don't need to chop and change so much....however, as you pointed out the salary cap retraints have changed that a little....

but its like the great Smithy doesn't back his own judgement....if players don't perform for even a year sometimes, he just brushes them and gets a new batch and says oh year they werenn't up to it....but these guys will be i'll make sure of it

and i for one am over this situation at Parra..............

if the team was playing consistently good football there would not be so much turnover.

That is the best list of gains i have seen ever at the club!

Since Pay, Dymock, Smith and McCracken

you mean the last time a certain coach was provided with a fantastic nucleus of talented core players that should almost guarrantee success??

just like Marsh, Riddell, Tahu and Morrison???? ;-)

Actually Hilditch was provided with the nucleus that also included Raper, Ritson and Freeman.....

Brian picked up the pieces more than admirably the following season.... :p

A lot of turnover for Parra.

Do you realistically see your team gelling and being a Top 5-8 next year? Or taking a year to sort out new combinations and ironing out the bugs so to speak?
