Good to see someone else take out the tri-nations rather then the same old team. My team (Great Britain) may not of won but this is the next best result! Viva International Rugby League! :D

Pisses me off that we were so disappointing in a big game. But to be fair the Kiwis played great on the night and deserved their win. Glad you blokes took it off us and not the Poms :D

What a great team effort by the Kiwis!!!

They attacked as a team, they defended as a team and they celebrated as a team!

Thanks guys alot, this means alot to a fan like me and NZ Rugby League in general, possibly the best Rugby League Moment amongst the Warriors winning the Minor Premiership and making the GF.

Loved that dancing circle while Wiki was being interviewed. They should have just let him go and join in!

Yeah, congrats NZ. You have confirmed that international league is alive and well. You have confirmed that your mob can produce the best in our great game. You just ended the greatest sporting run of success, I believe, in international world sport.:clap::clap:

I also believe that next years Tri Nations final should be held in your country. Defending champs and all that.

Well done Kiwis! With all the bagging of the Australian team it seems the effort of the Kiwis is being diminished. I didn't watch all of it, but in the second half the Kiwis defensive effort with sensational. Plenty of gang tackles and driving defence. Let's just hope the Warriors can do something next year.

Did anyone share a tear with Ruben when he cried?

I watched the match live on French telly and they cut transmission after a few minutes of celebrations. I saw, but didn't hear, Jones and McClennan, being interviewed but no Wiki.

Throughout this tournament my respect for Wiki has grown and grown and after for the sport itself I'm happiest for Ruben Wiki.

Can there be a better leader of men? Even from the TV screen this fellow exudes leadership and inspiration. When the sh*t hits the fan he's there at the front, and through all the bad years and massacres he's been NZ's best, so how great is it for him to win the big one, nil the Aussies and win his 50th cap.

He deserves some kind of official recogntion from the NZ govt.

Were any of you guys alive the last time the Aussies lost a series in '78? sh*t this is huge, the two codes doing the double for the country, bloody awesome. Last time the Kiwis won a series against the Aussies - 1952!!!!

Yeah, I remember watching it on telly. The French used to show the scores as "France 8, Australie 5". Couldn't spell for sh*t!!!

I dunno, maybe things will resume back to normality starting with the Anzac test next year but I'm just bloody glad I get to witness one of these during my lifetime. It's that rare.

Yes, it is.

And if you take the crap refereeing out of the equasion, it's our first series loss since 1973!

NZ have been very good all through the tri-nations, they deserved the win more than GB and AUS in my opinion.

Im 42....and this thing, this phenomena has only occurred 2 or 3 times in my lifetime, or during my following of League anyway.

A lot of fickle...imo ...Wests Tigers supporters were hoping for a series loss by Aus, despite my disappointment of only one of my teams players being selected (a token gesture it seems) I could never hope for the Aussies to lose in anything, have only done that once & that was Mundine against the German, and even that was difficult.
But now its done, now weve lost the series, I hope theres a clean sweep, and a new fresh younger brigade brought into the Aussie rep arena. Bennetts neck can be first on the choppingblock.

Kiwis dont have to worry about that, their new fresh talented victorious squad is already in place.

Well done Kiwis.

I wanted Australia to win but we came up short. Like Ink I figure it's time to bite the bullet, get rid of Bennett and have a fresh new look at how we choose the Australian side.

There was asolutely no spark in our team yesterday. We were out-played, out-coached and out-enthused.

Maybe you're right about Bennett, his time has passed. However, I can't help feeling the Aussies rode their luck last year (apart from a brilliant final) and were finally found out in this years.

The myth that Australia are invincible may be over, at least in the Shaky Isles. However, this is also the time for NZ and GB to be prepared for an Aussie backlash. We all know how the convicts hate to lose.
