Your team is still no competition for the heavyweights of the competition. You are probably still two years away from the finals.

But on the plus side you are in a better position than us Sharks supporters. We have nothing to look forward to. We lost to a side who won't make the eight and will lose heavily to everyone bar Souths and Manly.

Yep, we admit we are a team of little substance. We will finish lower than you on the ladder, no doubt about it.

But you are still a few seasons away from worrying the big name teams.

Congratulations Tigers. It would have been a tragedy if we had won the game. That was a solid start and gives you something to build on for the rest of the season. We were pretty woeful, but that is not to take away the Tigers performance.

I think the sharks problem is you have quite a few stars like Peach, kimmorley, stevens, bailey and soon vagana, but not much backup - after those you have people like Mcgoldrick (Geez he played bad), gallen and that hooker - who's name is alluding me - running around

Well that was one of the worst games I've witnessed in a while. Looked like i was watching under 15s or something at times. That whole knock-on after knock-on sequence in the in goal was the most ridiculous thing I've seen in recent memory.

But we were definately the better team. Sharks were not as threatening as us, and we started off really well IMO. A big wrap to Senter for that try. Not many hookers have the power/determination to score a try like that, which he has done on numerous occasions. Moody brought some experience I think which was good, his only fvckup was that dropped bomb.

I think we definately will be competitive this year against the good sides. This is only round one and we will get a lot better

You forget that the Tigs did match it against the Roosters last year. Granted we did have some players out to rep duties and injuries, but that's no excuse. We only just got up in the corresponding game the year before.
The Tigs look stronger this year, and I've got 'em tipped for a top 8 finish. At $2.80, I couldn't resist. 8)

yeah its hard to argue with that, I dunno I've always been a fan of Peachy - I think he gets a lot of bagging AND a lot of praise he doesn't deserve

I would have never played him in origin but on the other hand he's a lot better than some people like to make out.
