i make no secret of the fact i dislike alot of you people, but i do like the tigers team and last night they looked very good in patches

if they can get it together for the full 80 then they will shock alot of teams

Its the first game of the season and it was expected to be sloppy - sure maybe both coaches wouldn't be at all happy with how sloppy this game was but at the end of the day both sides did show some sort of promise.

The Tigers looked good for about 40mins out of the whole game and their defence as you could see has been the main thing they have worked on over the off season (especially off their line)

The attack well we did make a few line breaks but I think in time as they do start to expand the play things will improve

As for the halfback position isn't it great to finally see enough positives te have some hope that this really won't be our main problem for 2004 and beyond

God damn, as an Eels supporter, the "Tigerets" (i don't know about the name though), were the best thing about the whole night! ;-)
