Well done manly
defence was far too strong at the end of the day, not helped by canberras inability to hold the ball and remain disciplined and organised in attack.

Marking it off as a bad day for canberra, hopefully we live to fight another day as #1 on the ladder but well done

You blokes will go places this year, Mick Monnas is a gun, really bite us on the arse today
once again well done Manly

Yea well if elliot finally gets the nerve to try them you might just see the future of canberra next week with Smith definately out and Woolford on report, if suspended you might see:

6. Campese
7. Carney
9. Withers

good luck to you blokes also next week, heres to hoping both teams and continue on their early season form and prove the doubters wrong

And a brain too... ;-)

When I learnt that he was playing, my confidence doubled.

That guy is one of the largest feline's in the game and is a cancer for your side.

Yep, David is Terry's uncle :)
They had a little thing on them a while back, David says Terry has his number in just about every aspect of footy, especially defence

Well if has half the success his uncle had he's in for a pretty good career.....if the Raiders feel as if he's not up to scratch as Monas was 2 years ago....just let us know amigo and we'll certainly give him ago :p

There are a few ex-Canberra players at Manly.

Monaghan
Kennedy
Kite
Williamson

Good luck Raiders. Considering most tippers had both our sides (and some had the Sharks as well) expecting a new coaches by this point in the year. I think it's safe to say a all 3 teams are going a lot better than expected. Hard to believe all 3 teams sit out on top of the table.

I got to say, I think your team has done extremely well with Smith and Adamson. I didn't think you had the quality to replace what you had, let alone better it. Withers however, was the one hope I gave you. He is a fine talent.

:? That doesn't sound right....The Campo that I know and love would never praise anyone other than himself, and certainly wouldn't say that they outperform him in ANYTHING - let alone in a sporting sense.
