i congratulate these men in spite of the bagging they are receiving for being strong and making the right choice

OO you are starting to lose me with your bias against the board.
Don't get me wrong, the jury is still out with me, but I thought you felt the same.
Of late you are clearly anti board, especially since Mr incompetent was sacked.
I read one of your posts about breach notices & I must say, there were no earth shattering crimes in there,
Geez riding on the team bus whilst in another country, is no mis demeanour for me. Even if the OS trip is paid for by the club, I consider it OK if it is administered fairly. Directors put in a huge amount of time for which they get bugger all back. In most cases.
For mine, the mistake that was Anderson, had to happen, due to my own beliefs on how the wheel turns.
If you are clearly anti board then your focus should not be on the only correct decision they have made of late.
They have saved the club close to 10million dollars by this decision.
Surely you know that! Don't you?
Anderson was gone in rnd 5 2002. He knew it. He knew what they were doing. they carefully planned the whole saga to further minimise loss. Sack me or back me was Mr incompetents way of emabarrassing them out of their plans. But they hung tight. They followed it through perfectly, irrespective of time or timing.
I would suggest if you want to criticise their performance, then the questions that should be asked are;
What is the conspiracy against Gow?
Why was Raper, the correct choice, gazumped for the job originally?By who?
Why/who signed off on the most ridiculous contract ever?
What gives with the development?

If you actually look at my original post I think you will see that it is the overall performance that I suggest raises questions - I assume your most ridiculous contract reference is to the same one I raised? CA did not arrive at the club by his own doing but you'd think he had with the teflon effort going on now (nothing sticks). Correcting the mistake does not remove accountability for the mistake. The wheel needs to turn a full revolution and ALL those responsible for this sorry episode in the Sharks history need to have their conduct examined and dealt with appropriately. I actually find your spin on my original post quite intriguing..... for someone who claims the jury remains out on the Board's performance, your message is highly defensive of them.

Nope I'm not defensive of them at all.
I am defending their current completion of a long term strategy.
But thats where I stop.
My biggest critics will tell you that I have been critical of the board since they originally signed Andersons contract. But more so, the way Raper got Gazumped.
That is not how the Sharks do things. We are not a "moraless" club like manly, Dogs, roosters.
I just find that you are focusing on the Anderson result at the moment.
& actually I do believe in redemption. That is why league/sport/life is so interesting.
