I'd like to congatulate the Sharks JF team on a magnificant contest in the JF Grand Final.

Personally I think no one deserves to lose a game let alone a Grand Final by golden point.

You've done your club proud and I'm sure many of you will go on to bigger and better things.

Yeah, the better team unfortunately lost. Oh well, Golden Point is always pretty much a lottery. :(

That's pretty unfair to say... Very very even contest the entire way through...

I thought it was poor judgement from the Sharks to try and out-drop kick that Soward kid. He was getting close from 45 metres out. The Shark boys were basically grubbering the ball from 40 metres out. They would've been better off running the ball on the last or pushing for better field position or SOMETHING. But still, both teams played well - it was enjoyable to watch, and a good start to the day!

a lottery maybe, but when you've got Soward your odds are much better than most others. Watching the telecast Gus was going "he's off here, and this blokes off there". Can't see the goosters letting Soward go anywhere.

The Roosters were rattled for the first 45 minutes or so. They only looked like winning when it got back to 12-all.

could turn out to be the replacement for fittler in 2005
could. has all the skills. 350 points in a season - freakish. Setting up Ale's try was gold - that play was four points against Origin class opposition.

Soward was excellent but seemed to be hardly involved. The Raiders sure know how to hold on to talent in the halves

only saw the second half, but awesome. Congrats to the Roosters juniors!

In the paper today said Soward was 'unwanted' by the Raiders.... I just cant 'buy' that....

Had to laugh at that article for so many reasons...!!

The better team lost. And the Raiders tried to hold on to Soward. However there is no cap in Jersey Flegg........ the Roosters throw zillions around on their lower grade teams.

That is absolute garbage. I know people involved in the lower grades at the Raiders. We simply couldn't compete with the offer from the Roosters... where there is no salary cap on the lower grades.

And interesting your team can't actually ever generate any talent.

Interesting how false that statement is ;-)
