Jack signed a two year deal when he came to Manly, so he has one to run.
Same with Bani and Neumann - both signed for two year contracts when they came to Manly in the off-season.

NBQ is probably just a year-to-year thing, won't have a contract until Manly can sit down in the off-season and work out what they can give him. But he'll be at Manly again, I'm 90% sure.
Dunners is gone. Off-contract and he's barely been sighted this year.
Mauro is locked up for at least next year. He won't be going anywhere for a long time. Local junior, massive wraps on him throughout the club.
Not sure on Clint's contract status, but I expect he'll get an upgraded contract for next year. He'll be first-choice back-up half next year and he was basically on match payments this year.
No idea on Sione. I don't think the club should worry too much about keeping him. He's never going to make it in first grade. He might be on contract for next year though, who knows.
Pretty sure Wells is currently off contract, but the club are keen on keeping him.

Oh, and Willow - who knows. Don't think the club will offer him more than a one year contract on pretty low cash, but he loves the area so he might be willing to take whatever (if anything) is on offer.

Unlikely to get another gig in the NRL, so he might have to head to England for a year or two.

Wouldn't be surprised if Willow is waiting to see how we go this year, a bit of recognition might get him a go in the ESL. I get the impression Halden is going to replace Willow in the utility role because he seems to be playing all over the shop.

Keep Willow.

FFS...He would be on peanuts and is more valuable than you think to the side.

If you watch any game over the past 4-5 years he is always the guy cleaning up an opposition line break and always the guy making that try saving tackle.

His utility value alone should be enough to earn another contract. The ability to play centre, 5/8th, second row/lock and hooker is too valuable to ignore.

..Ignoring all bias of course.

I'd never heard of Mauro before I saw him running out last week, whats the story with him Will?

Josh Perry will be added to that squad.

God you love the Willow. He's going good this year, no doubt. I definately hope he gets another year at Manly because he's definately bloody earned it. But if he gets better $$$ in England then I won't begrudge him for taking it.

Mauro is a local junior, started the year as Flegg captain playing prop. Flegg coach spoke very highly of him early in the year, then he moved to PL and played second row. More than held his own in PL and impressed staff enough to get a shot in first grade. He hasn't dominated, but for a guy who was in Flegg at the start of the year he's certainly putting in a good effort.

I think Manly have a future 200 gamer in Mauro. He's got tremendous talent, great training ethic and lots of improvement in him. So far he's shown he isn't afraid to make a few tackles. His runs leave a fair bit to be desired, but he'll put on some size in the off-season and that will sort that out (hopefully).

Willow plays his role in the side superbly, has definitely earned a new contract. But like yourself, I wont hold it against him if he chases the pound. He could easily double his wages in the ESL.

He has been in the Manly area for what, 5 years? Hopefully this makes his decision easier.

How old is Mauro?? I'm too lazy to look it up. He looked the goods in the Dragons game, I had no idea he was a Flegg'er! Showed maturity way beyond his age.

Not sure on his age. Probably 20 I guess if he started the year in Flegg. And yeah, very mature character who will be a very good player for Manly for the next ten years I reckon.

Seems like the Local juniors are finally coming through, after we lost half a generation of them to the AR f**king U.

What's that? Cuthbo, Bani, Mauro all getting their first run this year?

If the English Clubs offer him some coin, best to let him go and earn a final pay day. if not, and he's willing to play on the cheap, keep him on. This being in reference to Williamson.

Cuthbo got a run last year, but this is his best run.

Blokes who debuted for Manly this year...Mauro, Ballin, Bani, Halden, Neumann, Sione and Wells... no more I don't think?
