I would think this is unlikely. NZ were so bad in 2017 and lost 3 of 4 to England in 2018. I'd say they have some serious catching up to do

System needs a revisit
- play easy opposition and race up the ladder
- play hard opposition and lose a close game and plumet down the rankings

We need to add +/- differential on the result eg for every 10 points loss it will push teams down a rank

At least we will get a true ranking game USA v Cooks this year

Why isnt Indigenous and Maori ranked! (because they aren't countries)

It’s the same every time an England performance squad is announced. A lot of league fans in both hemispheres have zero idea outside of their blinkered view of their club.

I had to laugh the other day when the knights performance squad came out, but none of these players play for the top teams. Why aren’t all the good players in this squad.

Interesting to see on the Women's rankings, Brazil was added, but their opponent, Argentina wasn't...

Surely in order for you to appear on the rankings, you have to play in a sanctioned match, which means either both nations should be on there, or neither.

Technically no

They were in a lower ranked Euro C pool

So had to fight to get to a playoff which they lost just to play against the current final pool teams

While Serbia had to play against those final pool teams in their first outings and they missed out on for & against
