He was praising Dufty on Sun and would be perfect for setting up Melbourne like set plays with the fb chiming in like Slater does.
Thoughts?
it would be a good idea.

problem for set plays at our club - we don't have speed.

we should be recruiting speed, not more muscle.

Spot on Gregstar
The only backs with speed are dufty and mann.
And mann sits on the bench most of the time.
Of couse field is the quickest but is he ready and more importantly will he be given a go.
Not while mcgoose is still there

It's not just the speed of the player, I think it's more to do with the speed of execution. Dragons play too far before the defensive line.

Agree Redhoopz
They have to be qick between the ears as well.
Thats were they let themselves down.
Mental preparation.
No mental toughness.
Thanks the coaches fault as well as some of the players.

s. Hopefully Hunt becomes our Cronk. Players of his Calibre win the close games more often then not. I don't think it's a fluke Queensland won so many close games over the last decade. Happened too many to often to be a fluke.

Rrfhoopz what you quoted is the most sensible thing I have read on the forum for a long time. We don't play over the advantage line

Watching the Dragons execute an attacking play is like watching it in slow motion, it's clunky it doesn't flow smoothly. Watch the Storm, bodies in motion everyone knows what they should be doing the word that comes to my mind is professionalism. We will never win a premiership while we have the present setup.
