Realistically maybe, but i'd say Fergo is thinking pretty far from realistic right now, especially with Mundine advising him.

He just walked out on what was reported as 350-400k, he played origin this year, I cannot see him signing with an NRL club for less.

Apart from Parra (most of which is desperation) No club will match that in year 1. Maybe behaviour clauses for years 2 & 3 of the deal no doubt by the end of the contract he will be on that sort of money

We got rid of Jennings for 2 reasons. He had a massive contract and had some off field issues. If we're replacing him with a player on a pretty big contract, with massive off field issues.. Well we might as well have kept Jennings. I also consider Jennings the better player.
In saying that, I guess at the right price, with a huge dickhead clause in the contract you'd have to consider him.

I think Fergo potentially can be one of the best in the game, he showed glimpses of that this season for Canberra but potential doesnt mean much if he doesnt sort his shit out.

If he cut the brain explosions from his game he could play FB and be in the next tier behind Inglis, Slater and Hayne.

Yeah would hate for Mundine and Khoder to be anywhere near guys like Carty and DWZ.
Why? Mundine doesn't drink, smoke or take ElephantJuice. He is not a party animal and doesn't get in trouble for molesting woman. He may talk some utter shite, but he is a good role model as an athlete.

He is a money chasing grub with an enormous ego who as an athlete never achieved a lot in footy or boxing, he was talented at both but didnt do much with it and he will encourage those guys to be managed by Khoder.

Just recently have Fergo show up at that interview was a stunt to make himself relevant.

He never had any loyalty as a RL player and the two players he has involved himself with(SBW and Fergo) have gone on to be the same.

Irrelevant when he is an absolute wanker who loves the sound of his own voice

He really polarises people, that's for sure. There are worse things than being a gobshite but I understand why people don't like him. I hope he can help Blake, he seems like a lost little boy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ferguson doesn't lace up a boot in 2014. The crap that went on in that pub hasn't been dealt with yet and could keep him out for an extended period. 'He' wants to show publicly that he's already on the rehab trail (whilst Mundine is using him as a promotional tool at the same time) in the hope it might lessen the sentence if found guilty.

Any 'dickhead clause', (well-worded Maple), needed in his contract would need to be massive. It'd be a great read though.

If we could sign him for 2014, we would be crazy not to IMO. It's only a matter of time before he stuffs up, but until then he would be a great player to have on the field.

The non drinking, Loving father/husband side of Mundine is good for him. The problem is the other 80% is a knob

Will Hopoate has a get-out clause from Parra now Ricky Stuart has left them. He would look good in a Panthers strip and unlike his dad or Ferguson, he doesn't come with any off field issues......
