Why are casino merkins allowed to search people for drugs?

Weapons fair enough. Once they saw it was a container it should be none of their f**king business surely?

It's a condition of entry I guess. If you don't want to be searched, you don't come in. A bit like when they search you for liquor on the way into a footy match.

I guess if you keep your drugs in a metal container then go through a metal detector you probably shouldn't complain too much.
