Also possible that Norman has become more influential (or just harder to influence by the other leaders) as he has become more senior in the team, and it's finally hit the tipping point where he is a net negative influence at the club.

When Maloney was on the johns show, they talked about where he has been and how successfull he was, then they talked money and he said he had always gone up in money each move. Flanagan on another night also mentoned sharks were no willng to pay more cause it would have meant they would have had to let others go.
