It's all well and good getting these flash players, but I can't see a hell of a lot changing until they (team and club) change their attitude.

A winning attitude would be cool..

I think it's between you and Broncos. Hopefully Luke has finally learnt he can't use his shoulder any more.

I agree with this, in the most part. The thing is though, the recruitment - RTS and Luke obviously in the main - may instil a desire in itself, a sort of 'shit we have a good side, we could do this'. Which isn't the optimal sort of attitude, given a couple of close losses and/or injuries could also lead to 'it ain't our year, maybe the next will be' like this year. Struggling to believe that McFadden is the person to make sure that prevails at all times.

However, I like what I see in Luke turning up for pre-season early, Justin Morgan being on board, those sorts of things so maybe we'll have a player-driven attitude in a positive sense, rather than the stinkpot of the last few seasons under sub-par coaches.

Somewhere between 6-10 for me, tired of being disappointed - so minimal expectations might be exceeded!

Agree on the need for a shift in culture - regardless of injuries, the end of last season was really distressing, no pride, no effort - just pathetic

The positive for me is that, given the squad at his disposal, Cappy will have no excuses next year.
Perform or move along!
Doyle will be well aware of this as well.

Excuse time has gone and the depth in the squad should allow no shirkers.

Pretty much a new look to the place

Chances depend on what Morgan can do with that legendary leaky defence.

Sort that out and on paper this is a side to fear.

I don't expect Johnson to be the same player, but even when he was firing, we could still concede 18 point leads in games....so its more about the tackling and holding onto the ball than any thing the head coach can plan for.

Hopefully adding the new boys (who can all tackle) to the system does the trick.

With your spine anything less than top 4 will be dissappointing.

Travel, injuries to key players (eg Johnson last year) and not having a topline coach may derail your campaign. However, assuming Cowboys won't go back to back as no team ever does, then no team apart from Broncos looks to have a really strong claim so you guys are definitely a chance. If the Chooks don't win it (which I don't think will happen) I hope you guys do.

i voted top 8 only cos there are a lot of new faces,
i would expect top 4 in 2017 after everyone (the spine) knows each others play in 2016
pretty exciting time though

Same old shyte for me I reckon, we'll rack up plenty of points but continue to be sloppy and lose key moments and matches along the way. Should finish higher than this season but will be surprised if we go beyond Finals Week 1

Our problem isn't our team (although we haven't looked this good on paper in years).
Our problem is our on-field leadership and attitude, we'll only get better if the new recruits fix that.

If we give it our all and have huge luck with little to no injuries. 2016-2018 could be very successful times for this club and country

With hot actors such as RTS, SJ & LUKE though?

The Director McFadden is no Spielberg , and there is a history of prior Oscar winning actors like Tomkins that have arrived and phoned in their performances.

This season may not turn out to be a Waterworld, but I'm predicting more a Hangover 2 rather than a Silence of the Lambs result come Academy Awards time...

And not enough white guys in the team to get any award nominations...
