These are the types of comments I love hearing. The more big name players that come out with this sort of stance - stating country means more to them than club - then the more likely we are for the NRL and other bodies to take the game internationally more seriously. Not only that, the average Joe blow punter hears this and realises the game is bigger than Bankwest and broadens their horizons into what we internationalist already know, the international game is, for me at least, just as enjoyable if not more so than the NRL.
