Canberra RL Newcastle RL and Illawarra RL are the same as Pentith or Souths A grade district comps these days

Even the Far North Coast has been taken over by the Gold Coast

Easts have taken over the CC

Sothat really on leaves Riverina Dubbo New England and North Coast

Without running the elite comp there is no reason why the NSWRL cant run these areas just as QRL VRL WARL NTRL SARL run their states

What about duplication in CC Newcastle Illawarra and Canberra where they field U16 U18 teams in a NSW state based junior league under the NSWRL badge ?

And then the CRL still expects them to play in a country championship inder the CRL badge
