Coverage on BBCSport

I may have gotten off on the wrong foot with some of you but hopefully some of you forget that and read anyway.

I'm sick of going to BBCSport and seeing NFL/NHL etc on the main page while aussie sports (specifically AFL and swimming) are totally neglected. I have been emailing them for a few years to increase their aussie sports coverage and I was wondering if you guys might wanna help by just sending one email each or sumthin', just to show that there is an interest there for aussie sports...

Its small compared to other AFL sites, but the discussion is normally well considered, and its always good to see new people here.

Your efforts to increase the reach of the AFL code are to be applauded. I haven't actually been to the BBC sport site to check, but do they not have any AFL coverage at all, or is it simply hidden away on subsidiary pages?

I could see why they wouldn't be prone to giving the sport central coverage, but given that exhibition games have been played in Britain on several occasions, and the solid core of (travelling & permanently based) Aussie expats in the area one would hope that they give the sport a look-in of some type.

Yeah mate thanks. BBCSport has no coverage of AFL at all but it usually has a pic in the 'pictures of the day' every so often. Whereas US Sport has a whole section devoted to it and NFL/NHL regularly make the front page... It just seems stupid that they don't cover it.
