his storm team mates are probably kicking his arse in the sheds right now considering they would have narrowed the gap to 2 points and they were on a roll, he probably cost them the game and a home semi.

there wasn't any clear video footage so there won't be any life ban, though there should be.

I was only 20 meters away from it and I must say that it was the most shocking thing i have ever seen im my life.

I am serious, that was absolutly disgraceful. I would say that life or a season suspension would be in order. That kind of stuff has no place on the sporting feild or in Australia!

O'Neill and I think Skando went in to make a tackle on Williams. O'Neill hits him highish and they go down. Ref doesn't call it and the players get off.

Williams struggles to his feet, plays the ball and Melbourne play on right. Meanwhile Williams pushes past Skando and takes a few steps towards O'Neill. O'Neill is looking across the field towards the footy.

Williams cocks his arm and cracks O'Neill right in the side of the jaw/cheek. Poor Buckets drops like a stone, straight onto his front and doesn't move until play stops and the trainers eventually get him up. He was as gaga as any player I've seen in footy.

Williams is a disgrace and should be banned. F*ing pig.

I was in the main stand....followed the ball and the play, and subsequent "try".....it looked bad on the rough replay we saw on the big screen .....though seeing the blood pouring out his mouth as they helped him from the fiel made me feel ill.

Buckets is just getting over a severely broken nose as a result from the melbourne game in Melb, courtesy of guess who?

That was the most cowardly incident I have ever witnessed at a football game (I haven't seen many games live, but I doubt any incidnt will surpass that)

As I said in another thread elsewhere, the sight of a local legend lying on the ground sub conscious and looking like he was convulsing due to the malicious attack by Williams, is something I will possibly never forget.

Bird got 12 weeks for a knee that was not as vile as that shot by Williams tonight.

O'Neill seems to be fine (as fine as a man could be with a busted jaw) He was wearing an oxygen mask I believe for some time after the incident though.
