Do you think the Cowboys are premiership contenders, not just "making up the numbers"?

Not sure about premiership contenders but if Roosters win today and they get Brisbane next week. I think that is winnable for them. I think North QLD supporters will forget 10 years of losses and draws to Brisbane for a win next week.

i think they are premiership contenders based on last nights dominant performance, most definetly. wont vote tho, as i dont have an opinion on how far they'l get. but answer to the question, yes, they are

I think they won't progress past next week, unfortunately. But to say their win was just luck is unfair.

I hope I'm wrong though.

If they get Brisbane next week I'd be backing North QLD. Brisbane really looked tired and slow last night. With all the ball they had they should have been in front by more than 8-0. There last month has seen a draw with Souths and a few losses. North QLD on the other hand are on a high and if they can keep a lid on things and not get too far in front of themselves I can see them knocking Brisbane out next week (Provided that Roosters beat Canberra today and based on this weekend that isn't a gimme)

It'll be hard to win next week but not impossible. Alot mroe pressure will be on now that we have shown we can cause an upset. But anyway, BRING ON THE BRONCOS. (Providing the chooks win today).

They are not making up the numbers any more- although in a way they don't deserve to be in the finals since they finished 7th (nothing personal against them, just that I think there should be a top 6 only).

they'll beat brisbane next week, but wont get past the panthers the week after.

i think the panthers will be playing the winner out of the dogs/storm game that's if all goes according to plan today and there is not another upset.

the cowboys will be knocked out next week i think but their win wasn't lucky last night. they could beat brisbane but i can't see them making the grand final. maybe make the preliminary final.

IF Roosters win today....

Then we'll play the Bronc's next, and if everyone would just cool-it about last nights game, we may still be able to remain firm underdogs.

If the Bronco's hear they are the underdogs... gunna lose to the cowboys... then they'll win it by 20... so please everyone just shut-up

IF we beat the bronco's then the next game would be Roosters...

If the raiders WIN today... then we face the roosters a week earlier... #-o

The team is a slight chance. The cowboys don't rely on there halves as much as other finals teams [brisbane, canterbury, penrith] But the cowboys rely on quick play the balls and a hell of a lot of speed and agility from there little blokes [ty williums, bowen, etc]

A top 6 for a 15 team comp isn't fair IMO. I'd like to see the days of the top ten return :D

They'll beat the Broncos next week, on form, but I can't see them upsetting the Roosters as well. Would be a mean feat though. Qualifying in their first ever finals' series AND beating the top three.

The Cowboy's have a fighting chance to win the Grand Final. They are playing fantastic football :). I would love to see them defeat the bronco's next week ;)

I think they'll beat the Broncs, and then lose the following week. Close, but no cigar.

Done very, very well though. Done great things for the North Queensland region.
