THERE was familiar news from the North Queensland Cowboys' midweek injury roll-call yesterday when the first grade side was once again given the all-clear.
Mercurial fullback Matt Bowen is right to play against St George Illawarra at Oki Jubilee Stadium on Sunday despite a badly-bruised hip.
Cowboys football manager Peter Parr said Bowen was the only concern coming into the weekend.
"He's only a little bloke and he doesn't carry much fat," Parr said.
"But at the end of the day it's only a bruise and it won't stop him from playing, even though it is a little uncomfortable."

Bowen is a great player for the cowboys, and one of the most underrated in the game.
