The Southern Stampede (Sydney Supporters Group) www.southernstampede.net) has been allocated a few tickets in this promotion. At this stage we don't have any left, but if there are Sydney based Cowboys fans that want to join us please post below and I will PM you with details as they come to hand.

I won free tix in a competition so I'm happy. Go the Panthers and Cowboys! ...would be saying the Tigers but hey...hopefully this time next year I can say that...

Nothing against the Stampede, but why are they getting free tickets. Sounds strange considering they don't have to pay the airfares etc to go to the game. Just my opinion, not meant to offend anyone!

A bit of bias showing towards the stampede.

Moonman, you have no idea how much that post was a kick in the guts to me personally.

Mate we have over the years built up a Sydney based Cowboys supporters club from nothing.

We travel to all the games down here including Canberra, Newcastle, and even Melbourne. Most of us travel up to Townsville as well to watch some games (I was there last week)

We have set up our own website and forum as the club doesn't have one.

We organise the pre-match functions down here.

We put North Queenslanders up at our homes when they come down for games.

We paid for and made the "Howdy Hats" out of our own money, to give us (the Cowboys) our own identity.

We are currently raising money for junior rugby league in Townsville (even though we live in Sydney)

We have been spat at, abused and assulted at games...but we still keep going.

....and you know what, everything above here has come out of our own pockets. I can tell you I have spent near on $10,000 this year to further the Cowboys and The Southern Stampede.

We didn't ask for these tickets, they were offered to us as appreciation of the work that our small band does.

We had already spent all weekend organising all the NQ supporters and our mob so we could all buy tickets so we could all sit together and cheer as one team. I spent last night refunding everyone's money as they had all paid it into my account.

You have offended many with that post. I could understand it coming from an opposition supporter.....but from one of our own....well that really cuts.
