Our defence actually seemed quite good tonight. With the amount of ball the Cowboys had through our mistakes, and the way they played (how good was that inside pass for the Bowen try by the guy being tackled by Peach) I thought we were OK. Just no luck and no confidence in attack.
And with no props it was always going to be hard. Was that an elbow on Beattie? Hard to see from the other end.
Jason Williams had a good game - finally a forward who can offload - as did Simmons apart from letting in that try at the end, and Vagana was good when he got the ball.
The crowd was pathetic, both in numbers (9500) and noise.
I agree sullyfan about McGoldrick, we have no hope while he is in first grade. Great effort, always highly involved, and is improving, but not a first grader.
