Agreed!! ... Who are you at war with?? Your club cheated - not all of you are guilty - but the only war is within the club the way I see it..
I agree with your sentiment, the issue for us lies within. Not everyone was in on the rort and no-one on these forums knows who was and who was'nt.
To question their integrity asssumes you believe they are lying. Maybe time will prove you right, however at this point, if they are saying the rort is purely back office stuff that players are unaware of it, you need to check your attitude, and wait to see if you are right.
I am happy to wait an see what the investigation unloads on us. If players are in the know, then shame on them, they should be banished from the league, never to be registered again anywhere. Let them go to another sport who support their ideals. From what I can ascertain by reading these forums, surely another NRL club would not support signing a player who has knowingly been deceptive around the salary cap. To assume players signed two contracts is only an assumption. Stories are also eminating that a combination of letters of offer and playing contracts were signed, the latter being the by the players. It is what was presented to the NRL that matters in this case anbd where the rort lies. The players signed contracts from the higher amounts. The role of player managers and Storm senior management in this is hopefully where it starts and ends.
Perhaps I am naive (you younger ones may need to look that up) , perhaps the players and coach are aware. However I will fall on their side until proven otherwise.
What is a little humurous is how everyone is quoting stories as fact from journos' who are usually derided around here. All of a sudden these Journo's are spot on with every point.
Let it run its course, get the dirt out if it has not left already, and get on with playing some football.
