a good hard no nonsence forward who likes the tough stuff, Stapo's not brilliant nor flashy but never lets his team mates down.

I'd have him in the trenchs with me!!

Good solid prop/second rower. Agressive, works hard, and has a fair bit of strength. No frills footballer but always works hard and gets the job done. can give away a few penalties though

he's a good player but nothing special.

last year at any other club he would have been an average player who worked hard. but at our club he was one of our best because he kept giving 110%.

something a lot of the other boys didnt do

He looked very good in a pretty dodgy pack bar Hindy. But I mean his a good honest player and was always a fave while at Parra seeing as he loved the Biff.

my fave players last year were hindmarsh, mckinnon and stapleton coz they kept going !!

and one of my fave eels players is lee hopkins, who is a bit ordinary but had tons of heart. i'll never forget that game where he gave a penalty which lost us the game, and he just crouched on the oval crying.

Yeah its a shame he had to leave but I dont think he had what it takes.

He's a very good player, with Hindmarsh our best forward this year.

Still can't believe he wasn't retained.

i would have liked to see him stay, he was one of my favourite Dragons players when he was at St George Illawarra.
