Ok where do u start!! I think we are all smart enough and see the obvious signs..

1. Discipline out the door within 2 games of new comp - how else can u explain a side not playing the ball correctly 4 times!!! Never would have happened if Bennet was coaching.
2. Which genius thought of putting Hornby out in the centres to defend?? skinned 3 times for a 2 try result!!
3. Rein must go!!! he is one dimensional and has a poor service from dummy half - please bring in King now!!
4. Hornby, Stanley, Debelin, Fein are way out of depth!! honestly must make hard decisions and drop them now....
5. Price has obviously lost the dressing room already because there in no other way to explain a blowout score in only round 2...no team in the competition leaks that many points so early simply because their intensity is still so high in the first few rounds...
6. Price was supposed to make some subtle changes to bring some change to our play...I have seen nothing but a rusty team out there - not once have we executed the double wrap around move that we were faultless on this year...it looks like a reserve grade team out there..
7 Solution??? The established players have to man up and do what they were doing so well last year and carry the younger players though....discipline, comraderie based around rock iron defence!! 46 points in 2 weeks is intolerable!! bring on the drastic changes..
Vidot, King, Cooper, Marketo for starters!!!!!

thanx for writing this, saved me doing it...jokes spot on ffs

What about Ah Mau's Shoulder charge, it was a genuine shoulder-charge, it sounded like he was penalised because in theory he might have used an elbow.. which he didnt.. very confused.. didnt think it was possible to deliberately hit someone high with a shoulder.

hope he gets 20 weeks what an ordinary player he is

Yeah im sorry......no reason to panic...I over reacted, it will all be ok...just a blimp on the radar, everyone was off this week it will all be ok next week against the premiership favourites...
R U GUYS f**kING DREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a headless team with no direction or style of play period!! no discipline, no defensive shape, players playing out of position and w no confidence!!! Seriosuly just make some hard calls Price.....
move Stanley to 5/8, Soward to half, Nightingale or Morris to FB, bring in Kemp on the wing and bring in Vidot to Centre. Move Scott back to the 2nd row....bring in Marketto to lock for some muscle and starch and lastly bring in KING!!!!!!please.....
This is the team that deserves to be chosen and stuck with.....

I love Mickeylane, he is a f**king champion!

There was two reasons why we lost the game tonight.
1. The forwards got dominated because Rein and Fien didn't get the forwards rolling up field effectively. Which also explains the poor attack (no roll on, slow play the ball etc).
2. Defense in the centres.

Drop Fien for King and bring Vidot or Chase Stanley into the centres and I think things will be OK.

Pretty much summed up my thoughts exactly.

I agree with this...time for some hard decisions to be made. In addition to the above, I would drop Prior for at least a couple of games to get his mind straight. Everybody makes stupid mistakes but with him you kind come to expect them and end up surprised if he doesn't make them.

Overall, I think this was a wake up call...if the coach and team has woken up remains to be seen.

What a lot of fans seem to forget though is that we were playing woeful towards the end of last season as well and that was with Boyd, Gaz and Bennett , so I doubt those three would have made a difference last night. We just weren't in it..and it's time to drop a few to get their minds back on footy...it seemed to have worked for Josh Morris last season at the Dogs...I bet it would work for a few of our guys as well.

I guess what I'm trying to say in my previous post is that if we stay sharp out of dummy half and roll up the field a little better, the attack will come. King can help in this area. If we get the right edge defence working with a specialist centre we won't leak as many points. Vidot or chase may help. Wholesale changes are not the answer IMO. Just a couple of strategic changes. The the majority of the team we picked for last nights game are more than capable, they just have to play better.

I mean no offence to the players we have purchased, but it doesn't help when the club buys fringe 1st graders in the off season, we've been down that path before and it never works. Add to that ageing players, Coops, Hornby, Fein & Young and you are looking at an average season at best.

We have lost Boyd & Gaz and purchased no one really. Next season we have lost Scott and more than likely Young. All these players were/are on good money. We have resigned Merrin and B Moz. Our Toyota Cup team is struggling with no one standing out for the future in any of the key positions. So in essence we have no choice, we have to vigorously shake the market and buy a couple of quality players (half back, center, fullback & a forward) or struggle like we did pre Bennett.

I'm no accountant but surely we must have some serious money to spend when you consider you we have and will lose and who we have so far purchased.

We got belted in the forwards. One player (Merrin) made more the 95 metres. Give Miller a run. Similiar to the stats from last year when they started going down hill. Our attack is ordinary. Can only get better I hope.

I agree with you.... and an extra comment, if we dont do something now I can see this forum turning into negative comments week after week ...instead of all of us pulling together and enjoying our football and supporting our club the way it should be.

As others have said the defence was shocking particularly on Hornby's side, after Timana exposed him last week why were no adjustments made? Remember how militant our goal defence was under Bennett? You had to roll up in a tank to get through that line. How quickly things can change.

We bought quality cattle that can play in the centres, its time that either Vidot or Chase get up and running. As for the attack where is it? Nothing was on last night and Soward looked under pressure on the last a lot last night. We were analysed and taken apart comprehensively, if its all we got I'm f**king concerned.

Very dissapointing game last night I did not think Canterbury were particularly good I just were very ordinary I have no idea how Saints could dish up that garbage especially seeing how well they played last week, changes are going to have to be made now and hopefully we can get a win next week against the Tigers my team for next week would look like this.

1. Vidot (Give him a go)
2. Morris
3. K/C Stanley
4. Cooper (welcome back!)

We played terribly and the dogs played well, add to that the Dogs had the rub of the green with the refs as well. This is one of those games we should just close the book on, it was just a bad day at the office. If we repeat that performance again next couple of weeks it'll become a real concern. It was a very forgettable game.

rofl @ all these changes.

Is chopping & changing the line up gonna make Dragons play-the-ball properly & stop dropping the ball?

Line-up stays as it is, & if Price was to stop chopping & changing, then we can definitely say our season is over after round 2.

KING is gone. Forget him. It's too late....we farked that one up already. That team above is average. Sorry but true. Stanley at centre, stanley at fullback are a big weakness. Scott cant cover cente anymore so we are exposed there. That bench is aweful.
