Has anyone tried it?
If so, does anyone recommend a 16 year old to take it?
And is there any side effects?
And one more question, does it matter if you don't buy the expensive stuff and get the fizzy one?

THANKS

I've taken Creatine, it's basically an illusion.....it makes you look bigger temporary....it pumps more fluid into your blood stream hence making you bigger.

No side effects apart from dehydration when not drinking enough water & peeing alot.....which can effect your kidneys.

I wouldn't take it if i where you.....it's pretty good stuff but??....the best stuff is Myoplex deluxe which contains a high volume of Glutamine & protein which is the best stuff for you.

Cheap & expensive stuff??....the expensive stuff!!....the cheap creatine will do nothing for yoy...believe been there done that!!

Thanks for the input.
I go to the gym quite abit than drop off for a few months because i'm not satisfied with the output, with creatine I could possibly see the effects and also the coaches will be impressed that i've done something off the field.

After I work out, i've consumed atleast 3-4 bottle's worth of water, and have to pee plenty once I get home, so by taking Cretine that wouldn't be much of a concern?

I was told about the cheap creatine that is bareable to drink and is about $20 for a milo tin type. I can't afford the expensive stuff, the gym alone is too much.

And also, once you stop taking creatine can you stop working out at the gym or does the muscle you've put on turn to fat?
Thanks again.

yes,yes,yes,yes
What sideeffects are there?

Mal Meninga, if ur only 16, stay away from any muscle boosting drugs and go to the gym
I do. Muscle boosting can only be improved on by going to the gym.

actually RJ i've been meaning to ask you seeing your the resident FFB health guru. for the past 6-8 months i've been battling arthritis in my knees and torn ankle ligaments which has reduced my exercise to basically sweet f**k all. and as a result i've put on a bit of weight. i've changed my diet a bit, ie. cut out fast food and replaced it with things like sushi and noodles, replaced white bread with whole grain, and cut cheese out all together and also i drink apple juice and water instead of cordial and softdrink but i think my metabolism is broken, lol. i still get drunk too often but for arguments sake lets say i'm not cutting down on that. are there any tips in the way of what to eat/take so i can actually lose this weight? it sucks not being able to run around and sh!t.

Im going to sound like a hypocrite now but....creatine is great for battling athritis....i have the same problem in may right knee, also try glutamine...best recovering agent there is!!

As for the diet??...if you wan't to loose weight..i know i might get some critisism but a high protein diet is the best & only way to go.

So basically you have bran for breakfast...tuna & salad for lunch and strictly meat & only meat for dinner.

No rice, potatos & noodles what so ever!!...plenty of tuna, chicken & meat when ever!!

Nah don't live anywhere near it. How much does Protein and glutamine cost?

It's definately not a banned substance. Most schoolboys at the very least try some sort of vitamins to try and improve their recovery etc.

Just go the Roids
I'll put that on the maybe list

No rice, potatos & noodles what so ever!!...
I eat rice everyday! Is that affecting me?

Creatine doesn't affect everyone that way. I take it in bi-monthly cycles. It isn't to give you size but rather to give you extended energy in the gym. It's a natural steroid in the sense that it will help you through a workout. Don't let the word "steroid" scare you. More stamina and strength is it's aim. Not to give you bigger looking muscles as is suggested.

Complex carbohydrates like rice, potatos, pasta and breads are an excellent fuel for a sustained workout, but not advisable for an evening meal. Stick to a small meal at night and snack between meals. Muscle requires protien to grow. You have to fuel your body. Protien supplements are a must.
