Firstly, with an excercise like this, there will be teething probs. We can overcome with patience, and everyone's diligent observations.

SKEEPE - take the Gafa from your core squad (same points anyway!)

There are some players from each NRL Premier League side that won't appear. Some players have been added to the unsigned player pool. This adds flexibility to everyone's recruiting needs. Of course, they can be bought.

As for the positions, I'm aware that most of these players can cover multiple positions - refer to the list that you guys filled out a month or so back. Bear in mind that in the PL teams, I won't be as rigid as I am with the firsts on players playing out of position - basically I don't know much about the PL players. Still, no halves or wingers in the front row - you will find they won't be nearly as effective. ;-)

DEANO - see above. I hear Covell is worth 2 players anyway...:lol:

BIG MICK - Newton was unsigned last year. He's available this year -7,7. BTW, with the draft, I will explain how it will work. If you are down the list, don't panic.

That's why there are 2 of you, Jono. You are recruiting as a club now. Therefore, there are still only 16 clubs for the draft -otherwise you may have a PL team competing with a first grade team for a player. Besides, the salary cap is for the club - you will both be responsible for adhering to it.

Bear in mind that CRLVII will have form and injuries - you will be using PL players to combat this. Therefore, you'll need to liaise with your PL coach.

Aside from that, you can run it how you like.

I was actually including an estimate for the QRL sides already, but you've inadvertantly answered my question anyway by saying that some PL players will be added to the unsigned players list.

One more question though, how does the draft work for PL? With four rounds of drafts (assuming 1 NRL player per round) I'm not really clear on how the full squads will be recruited.

The draft will be for the whole club. A list of all players availabe will be published shortly. All players can be used in either PL or firsts, so it's a draft for everyone.

With the draft, be prepared to name as many players as you like to fill your squad of 37. So I expect long lists with about 20-30 names on them.

As I said, a draft rules thead is being ......er.... drafted as we speak.
