Wing played for Souths before he joined the Roosters and went back. MacDougal had 10 years or so in Newcastle in between leaving the Roosters and joining Souths. Did Joe Williams even play first grade for the Roosters? If not then we can throw in Braith Anasta as a counter attack. Logan had a bit of a break in the UK, as did Kidwell and Crocker at Melbourne. Never heard of that Skinnon bloke.

I only did former Roosters who joined Souths, otherwise 13 is impossible without going to pre-2000. :lol:

Skinnon, mate he played a tiny bit of first grade for both clubs if I remember. Could be wrong with that one too.

Haha you're right mate. If I drew up a list of former Eels who've joined any other NRL club since 2000 I could probably name 3 or 4 first grade sides. We've got no specialist centres but 5 or 6 specialist centres we once had but are running around for other clubs. Very frustrating but what can ya do.

A number of these blokes, who couldn't even make the Dragons "Reserve grade" squad, are still playing first grade currently.

I may have even left out a couple of players .. Matty Head I didn't include, because he's back at the club.
