SYDNEY Roosters forward Michael Crocker has been charged with affray after a brawl near a Sydney hotel.
Police were patrolling Coogee Beach about 3am (AEDT) today when they saw a group fighting near the Beach Palace Hotel in Dolphin Street.
The officers used capsicum spray to subdue four men before arresting them.
The Roosters confirmed Crocker, 24, of Kensington, had been arrested and charged with affray.
The other three men were charged with assaulting police, resisting arrest, offensive conduct and hindering police, a New South Wales Police spokesman said.
The men were bailed to appear at Waverley Local Court on April 5.
