What does everyone think would be the full strength line-up for Premier League this year?

Where do you think they will finish?

How do you think the other grades will go?

Who will be the key players in each side?

Here is a possible Premier League line up. I have based it on the Nrl squad having an 18-man squad that I have also listed for reference.

Tell me your thoughts.

Cronulla Sharks:
1. Mitch Brown
2. Toshio Laiseni
3. Peewee Moke
4. Jardine Bobongie
5. Dane Neilson
6. Brett Kearney
7. Ryan Borg
8. James Stosic
9. Tevita Latu
10. Luke Harlen
11. Clifford Manua
12. Darren Mapp
13. Cameron Ciraldo

14. Jacob Selmes
15. Luke Douglas
16. Rhys Lovegrove
17. Nick Doig

18. Jeremy Latimore
19. Dayne Weston
20. Tony Caine
21. Kurt Puohotaua
22. Kris Pyper

Nrl: Simmons, Albert, Vagana, Pomery, Covell, Dykes, Kimmorley; Ross, Hilder, Thompson, Bailey, Williams, Gallen; Maiava, Leuluai, Bird, Kingston, Scott

Is No. 7 Ryan Borg, the same one as from the Maggies 2005. If so I will reserve my judgement until a few games have been played.

Thats actually a pretty strong team - the halves combo is about as good as you're likely to get in PL

Yes he was signed from the Magpies.

Nielsen is more of a centre than a winger...
Yeah he is a centre but i couldn't really see any other wingers in the squad. Who do you think should play on the wing?
I don't think Bobongie and Moke would be suited to wing either.

I'm not sure about PL yet. I haven't seen Borg play, but I'd rather we had kept our younger halves from last year. I think we'll be around 5th to 8th. I'm disappointed we cleaned out a few of the younger Newtown guys like J Green and Aitken who were good last year. Prop Luke Douglas is the player to watch.

Flegg probably excites me more. Theo Burgess has a great track record of signing good young players. It's what we do with them after Flegg that worries me. But I expect Flegg will up in the top 4 again thanks to a massive Polynesian contignet, mostly from across the channel. Player to watch if he lives up to the hype surrounding him would be Kiwi 5/8 Bracken Henry. The best local is Craig Priestly, plays a bit like Robbie Farah.

we have too many centres..

Both those centres could play backrow. We also have Rafferty as a centre option. Though like a few others named in that side, he could play Flegg.

I'm hoping Bobongie improves to at least be on the verge of 1st grade.

Would do wonders for our relationship with the Mackay club we got him from.

Shame Sludge is not around to see what happens with that relationship.

Neilsen is from Mackay also. He hasn't come with the hype, but has probably done more in 1 year than Bob has in 2, or is it 3 years he's been here. I think Neilsen is more likely to make firsts.

Nielsen is from North Mackay, Bobongie is from South Mackay.
I'd like both of them to make first grade, but agree with you ali.
