You can’t change history, but you can mold the future.
Thats like saying why have another NZ team when the Warriors have won nothing, why have another QLD team when the Titans have won nothing ?.

I would like to think that any announcement or unveiling would be done at the double-header in April. 40,000 people cheering it would be fantastic.

Would it make more sense to announce prior to this event in order to sell memberships at the double header itself? There can't be many better opportunities to sell memberships/foundation merchandise than this!

No it's not, because those new teams wouldn't have the dishonour of taking on the history of a team that haven't won anything for over 100 years.

I'm not sure having the most fake members is much of a benefit either.

Nobody in WA would be paying attention to whether or not they get an NRL team . Only a very very small percentage of people move 5000km away from an NRL team while simultaneously caring this much.
There's only so many Perth Red level contradictory people in existence.

Poor poor minimus the sad little man who needs a booster seat. He is trying to troll so he can be seen, he has always been invisible in life to everyone you see. No one cares for him, or his views. It makes him sad, cry alone in a dark room at night wondering why no cares cares for him.

Not sure if anyone else would be keen on seeing something different for the logo/branding? As Nuke said, slightly different to give some brand new identity to this team. I'd be keen to see some variations of the retro/wanderlust style...similar to the side profile bear of the California flag, or the side-profile face one I made? I reckon these are pretty on-point with being popular with the craft-beer crowd, although not quite as kid friendly.

Announce it for double header, get the brand and welcome memberships sorted for sale at origin and dolphins game in June. Sorted.

There's nothing holding back the announcement now. He won in a landslide so won't care about looking like there was backflip or any sort.
