2001 Semi final over the dogs. Great payback from the round 24(?) clash we had. It was a farce that game. Stevo was on report for running the ball up like a front-rower (how dare he?) and Polla-Spastic got his chest in the wrong position and copped an elbow off Stevo, making Stevo miss the next game.

And dare I speak about the farcial try that killed us? The Dogs must have knocked on about a gazillion times, not to mention how many times the tackled player (Patten, Anasta, Vagana) was allowed to keep getting up and playing the ball. When is a bloody player held?!!

We lost 16-14 or something anyway. Still a great game.

Also, the Qualifyer against the Knights, Matty scored one hell of a good try. Deano kicked from Dummy-Half and O Davis and Tahu stood and watched it go dead, but before it did Rat snuck in and put his hand down. My favourite memory of him.

I think it was 11-10 with us just in front most of the game when five minutes to go Barry Russell ran from the scrum base untouched to score under the posts Awsome !

Best Sharks moment for me is 2004 as a whole. There's nothing better then watching a club crumble due to blind nepotism. Ando was easily the best thing the club had going for it. Oh well... :lol:

Biggest highlights definitely the huge scores against Canterbury, Knights and dragqueens and the prelim against the Broncs at Shark Park. For 2004 - any game that we win (hopefully the remainder of the games)

I'm starting to see why so much garbage goes on in the Sharks forum. For all the quality posters in here it's the fools that get all the attention for the easy baits. And considering I wasn't even trying I can see why the antagonists come fishing... :roll:

But to the point you both seem to be hanging on, being a moderator means I'm here to moderate yes but it DOES NOT mean I cant have an opinion or take the pizz within reason. Right or wrong I spend most of my "moderating" time looking for idiots who, for whatever reasons, try to find ways to use intelligent words like merkin without being snared by the auto-censor. Luckily most people have the nous to, for eg my name, see the word but by-pass the use. It's only a select few kiddies that seem to find the need to let everyone know they worked it out. If you feel so strongly about my opinions & my ability to express them then by all means round up the posse & pass on a complaint or 40 to the top dogs. Just click on the "!" icon on the right of this post to report it. :arrow:

The question asked at the beginning of this thread was "What is your favourite moments or highlights of the Cronulla Sharks from 1967 - 2004?". I like Anderson as a coach & a person & thought the way the Sharks handled the whole thing was ludicrous, thusly seeing them with the coach of their choice & still not doing anything lets me revel in the irony. I cant see where it says that I have to be a paid up club member to answer or where it says all responses must be in a positive vein. If you don’t like to read anything negative about your club then I really think you may be doing yourself a grave injustice by reading anything on the Internet.

1) Actually I use ZZ more than SS in general so nice thought, but wrong.

2) I'll wear that as my mistake, had I have cared enough to check I'd have seen she used c*** instead of merkin. Apologies to those who obviously took the time to mark the essay.
