The number of empty seats in lower bowl of Suncorp is probably due to stadium members not turning up. I have a mate who gets tickets in the 25 mtr line section (northern end) and his yuppie union boss (works in fruit & vege trade so makes me laugh a wannabe aligns himself with union/reds) gives them to anyone who wants to attend Broncos games. I'd imagine a lot of the empty seats are union aligned stadium members who just don't turn up or pass them on perhaps? Should be a system where if they don't turn up for certain number of games, that part of their stadium membership is taken away.

Also, crowd should have been 40,000 and perhaps would have been if stadium members turned up.

Pretty consistent year from the broncos, no reall massive crowds but a solid crowd average. They really should be averaging 40k plus though for a city that big with rugby league as its main sport. Something to aim for I guess!

Going to be hard to increase family attendance with constant Friday nights, probably boosts the youth attendance though.

Surely the crowds in the 3pm slot this year are enough to justify it being a staple slot going forward. I for one love it
