Crowd stats all year: http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=412981

Some very interesting results.

Storm are starting to gain a foothold into Melbourne and with better scheduling could get more next year.
Warriors after a crap 2012 and a bad start to the year are doing better than expected.

Expected more for Cowboys even with their up and down season.
Sharks, regardless of a few Monday games should have a higher average.

Canberra, WTF is going on there?

I think the Cowboys' crowd can be partially explained (not excused, is a bit ordinary regardless) by the fans' frustration with the coach and the complete underachievement of what was on paper a very good squad. DFS could do with an upgrade too (and f**k off the 1800dentists crap)

That average does not equal the one Timmah had on the previous page (after factoring in today's crowd). Easts have shortchanged themselves by 100.
Spot on. After they said their average I took the liberty of recalculating their crowds from scratch and got the same result. Oh well, not my problem if they sell 'emselves short.

We use the same calculator for our salary cap figures....:sarcasm:

I'd say the NQ crowd will be 17-19k.

The fact there is a bit riding on the game and being that its matty bowens last game here. Tbh, it should be a sell out but it wont be.

Old Boys Day at Newcastle - should be 28k min. Storm, Manly, Cows will be a lot higher.

Very happy with our season average. Didn't have a single game under 10K either which points to consistently good crowds over the year.

Bought my tix for Friday night this morning. Category 1 tickets, PAX was 17925... no idea what that means

:edit: They were in the roosters Cat 1 section as well. Bay 404, so all of the concourse Cat1 is sold out (same for souths Cat 1, only tickets available on level 4 and 6 for them too by the looks)

It means 17,925 tickets have been sold. That's not including Souths season ticket holders (of which there are 15k-20k) and ANZ members.

Looks a +40k crowd already.

Well it means at least 18,000 people will be there. I don't know if members tickets get counted in PAX numbers. I know my membership tickets don't have a pax number on them.

Did all souths season ticket holders get free entry to the Gosford game? If so, you'd imagine that would mean season ticket holders would be somewhere around the 15-16k mark (there were still tickets in all cats available for that game), so yep it would be tracking around the 33-35k mark right now plus whatever ANZ members show up.

Back when I had membership the members used to get quite full for Souths vs Roosters games (more packed than Dogs vs Roosters games) so I reckon it will be over 40k for sure now.

Good news really as the Dogs Souths game was well under expectations. Clearly that was a result of dogs fans not turning up.

How many do Souths need to break 20K for the season? Will be a nice victory for the code to have a Sydney team over 20k. Providing the dogs and roosters can keep the form going next year there would be a chance that 3 clubs could break the 20k mark in the next couple years.

Suncorp Pax includes Broncos ticketed members and Stadium members.

So that 18k pax would included Souths ticketed members (how many?) and ANZ memberships, & corporate bookings to date.

A 40k crowd will take our home average over 20,000 average

That is probably the case if members tickets are booked through the same service as regular tickets. Souths members tickets aren't through ticketek.

Considering ANZ stadium has in excess of 20,000 members then that is not correct.

It may include Souths season ticket holders (although I doubt it), but definitely does not include ANZ members

:edit: Sorry just checked and they have 16,000 ANZ members. Nevertheless the fact remains the PAX clearly does not include them

It all makes sense. But ticketek would know which seats are occupied by the souths members, and how many GA memberships are booked?
