I'll admit I was concerned when the prices first came out and again when souths got knocked out but I think a lot of us underestimate the pulling power of our GF year after year

So, this year's GF involving two Sydney teams got less than last year's which only had one (although in fairness, last year's was in the much more family-friendly twilight timeslot)?

Went to the game and atmosphere was tremendous and full credit to both sets of fans. If this was the gf we didn't want then rest assured rugby league is in good hands as the passion & colour displayed was outstanding and the gf is becoming a much anticipated event in the sporting calendar.

The event has improved 100% since i last attended in 2010.

lol@news ltd fail to deter GF crowd with there constant negativity, great atmosphere to watch and by two of the most hated teams of Sydney. Who would of thought that. I suspect News LTD will find something negative to point out one way or another, it's always there way.

Next year commission needs to focus on promotion, ticket prices and better scheduling. Overall, the big teams fail to deliver on the field hinder the crowds mildly it's up to all 16 teams to carry the load and not just reliant on the big crowd pullers to carry the weight.

Cracking crowd. We were closer to the southern end so near the manly fans. The "maaaanly" chant was huge at stages, as was the "easts" chant from the other end.

Great crowd, and best of all not a dickhead amongst em afterward. Didn't see any roosters gloating not did I see any manly fans having a sook.

Great respect between the fans
