So far...

16,355 @ Toyota Pk.
17,142 @ Waikato Stad.
7,707 @ Olympic Pk.
25,780 @ Lang Pk.

Avg - 16,746

Not bad at all. Should remain the same after tomorrow, assuming the SCG game gets a healthy turn out.

Melbourne is in big trouble. Big BIG trouble.

Why? Both the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs have had worse home crowds this year.

Storm are a frontier team. Hopefully the new TV rights will see them get a lot more exposure down south and slowly build their crowds.

Expect poor crowd during winter nights in Melbourne. It's been raining prettty heavily the past several days and last night was meant to rain as well (thankfully it didn't). I had three people cancel on me due to the forecast

there was no AFL game in Melbourne last night, what did the storm do in terms of extra promotion?

There was Richmond vs erm.. whatsit at Docklands. Storm only did the regular promotion through Herald Sun ads and ground signage as they've always done.

Storm crowds are a worry though. They seem to keep going down unfortunately.

What happened to the 3 or 4 thousand other fans that used to get to their games?

The Storm are in the top 8 and should be getting bigger crowds. I'm not expecting a massive crowd but AT LEAST 10 or 11 for an AFL state.

I suggest your compare Storm Attendence to London not Sydney with the swans

4,000 to a London broncos game compare that to 8,000 or so to a Storm game?

I think RL in Melbourne is Safe at the moment
