Ahh yes. I remember that I was sitting in the Ettingshausen Stand that evening watching The Maestro score 5 tries. I also recall that at about 9:00pm that evening, with about 20 minutes to go in the game, a small earth tremor struck. The ET stand shook for a few seconds and as a result a number of people just got up and walked out of the stand. I couldn't bring myself to leave, as The Maestro still had some unfinished business to take care of (he had only score 3 of his 5 tries by that stage)

The sharks beating Manly in 1989 at endeavour. First time in a few years they had done that. I think we won 19-14. It was on the same day that there was test match in new Zealand on.

A kid a few metres up form me ate a heap of junk and then spewed on a group of girls in there best summertime bar outfits. Spew was all through some bad perms.

Also remember being in the summertime bar with my dad after the game talking to cliffy lyons while he sucked on a few ciggies. Footballers were footballers then. Not athletes.
