Ive posted less here the last few weeks as I'm slowly losing interest in this shite bag of a club.
But just like in the Godfather "they pull me back in"
I think the recent media reports about a soft underbelly here are what we have all been saying for years.
I do hope that Ennis's comments about starting another rebuild are off the mark though.
Im hoping Hastings next year goes into 7. Im happy with Laurie and Im OK with Doueihi.
I think we should be looking to run with BOTH Simpkin and Liddle. But I think Liddle should be starting and Simpkin should come off the bench. There are times when they can both be on the field at the same time. I think we di that in one of the trials this year.
We have plenty of props that are acceptable, not great. Its our middle forwards and our centres that are the biggest pressing issue. Id love both Funicane and Brown for our back row. Throw Luci in the there and it looks better.
Looks like we just signed the Englishman for the centres. Id sign Josh Morris. Yeah hes old. But hes still almost as fast and I think playing some of his best footy. Or else Gaigai. Defensively they both put in.
Reports are we are $600k under the cap this year. If we can f**k off Brooks and Mbye, even paying some of their freight, we should have close to $2mln to spend. We also have Packers money next year.
It wont completely turn it around, but its a start.
