Just wondering which player you think our beloved Knights should not have released or let go over the last few years or so, your pick does'nt have to relate to the present teams format.

Thats easy...Matthew Johns, Greg Bird would have been handy too

Paul Franze would've come in plenty handy for the various backline injuries over the past two years. Most notably Hughes and MacDougall.

I think we should have held on to Paul Rauhihi, he is now twice the player that he was when we had him.

Jermaine Ale.

He only played a few games of Flegg for the Roosters this year, but he scored a swag of tries as usual.

He is the next mad dog and we let him go at 17.

Ale was a human wrecking ball when playing for us in flegg in 2002. Sometimes he would have two and three defenders just looking after him, and he would bulldoze over the lot.

He will come back to haunt us.

Greg Smith. Should have never let him go back to the USA.
Yes was'nt he a tragic loss, I was at that game with my cousin, and I said to him watch what this yank does, he's incredibly fast I heard, a couple of minutes later my cousin was laughing his head off, could you even piture this happenning in the Knights team today?

The worse part of the day was the Lebonese Bulldog supporters congratulating us on our loss in their own special childish way.

We could get Morris and Albert back, promote Lowrie and Tilse to firstgrade and rename the side the Scone Knights.

I was talking to someone from Scone the other day and they said Tilse has been playing against seniors for Scone since he was 14, and that he has brothers who are bigger than him. There is a family it would pay to be nice to.

It would be good with Albert back, which if he wants to might do so on a low contract.

If we re-sign O'Davis & MacDougall.

F: O'Davis
W: Tahu
C: Gidley
C: MacDougall
W: Albert

B: Hughes

Very good backline.

LOL!!!!!

I was unfortunate enough to be at Greg's one and only game. We should have won that game, that was one of the worst losses of all time. Ta Wok.

As far as who we shouldn’t have let go.....John Morris without doubt, the others including Matty Johns were past it. I hate to say that because I still rate him the equal of Andrew, he should have been in 1st grade 2 years before he was picked, but anyway, he lost his confidence his pace and step left him. Much like my own :)

We could have shown him some loyalty though. But in the end of the day we have to run a football team, not a benevolent society.

Yes, I'm sure not many people around Scone would mess with the Tilses!
