Surely Hastings at 7 is a better option than Neil, who is solid but hardly spectacular IMO...

I really like Hutchinson in attack..seems to have time with the ball, very calm and level headed and always involved...although just got brushed off for the Tigers 3rd try...

Thoughts on Holden Cup 1st Half:

Negatives:
o Did really well to stay in game, Tigers are super slick when they hold the ball
o DJ Harris looks really out of place so far, up against athletes he cant compete
o Our Defence is non-existant, literally 1st tackle near our line and they stroll over
o Not much from Hastings so far, he needs to step up in the 2nd half

Positives:
o liking the right side, Winger Kiti Glymin has made some errors but really dangerous and set up a great try for hastings, Mocedeike looked dangerous too
o Bird has been dangerous all day
o Lolo solid apart from the silly penalty

Didnt realise the Stanley boys had a younger brother too, didnt really notice him much in 1st half, will keep an eye out in the 2nd!

lmfao everything I said at half time was reversed in the 2nd half... i should have waited till fulltime ;-)

- DJ was heavily involved (still needs to lose some pounds but was solid)
- Hastings was everywhere, couple of class touches for tries to help us skip away
- I gave Kiti Glymin a wrap, then he got injured..
- Mocedeike id love to see more of..
- Would have been 40+ points if Hastings goalkicking was sharper, this is a great sign because honestly we looked like we would lose 0-100 after 20minutes, we absorbed that early energy and after that it was a fairly even contest.

Bird was outstanding too, he filled in at right centre after the injury and killed it there too, got to keep this boy in-house, Steel mentioned 8 clubs chasing him... Ennis was wrapping him all game, if his body is up to it, should be in 1st grade within 2yrs you would think.

22-0 at halftime, dont know what you make of it really, were just dominating everywhere (64% possession), Newcastle making heaps of errors.. Drinkwater & Dureau both put some nice touches in.. Cook chiming in like a veteran... the forwards like Vea capitilising on all the momentum we have..

But noone is really standing out since were just solid all over... hopefully we go on with it in 2nd half..
