Boy plays juniors for a team. Boy makes first grade debut for that team. Boy makes lots of friends at that team. Boy lives in the area. Boy leaves team to enhance his career. The team he plays for doesn't make it to top 8. The team he played for last year wins the Grand Final. Boy puts on the jersey he played in last year and hits the road to celebrate with the locals.

I'm glad a member of our team got to celebrate a Grand Final victory. Doesn't happen all that often.

Good on you Dane, enjoy the celebrations and good vibes out Penrith way !

We and the media crap on about what is the clubs culture and identify.. we look back to our joint clubs and what they stood for .. Raudonikis ,Pearce , Roach, Donnelly etc .. those that gave 100% to the club on and off the field ..
But then in a heartbeat we excuse players that just piss on our identify !!
We either want to have an historical identity as a club OR just carry on degrading into a meaningless group of money grabbers... We cant have it both ways if we want to be a club of pride and loyalty!. we are one or the other .
