I am liking this bloke less and less each week. A good broken field runner but has none of the other skills required for a modern day fullback. Defence and ball playing well below average. Zero short kicking game. Never backs up in midfield on the rare chance we make a break.

Not at the moment. Always been a bit overrated.....had bits of shit in between the good stuff last year.

I said before the season started that we needed to keep an eye on this bloke form and attitude wise.. I don't think he is on big dough at the club...which is the only fortunate thing.

He does some things well and was decent last year but has glaring deficiencies that will stop him ever becoming even a top 10 fullback

First 2 rounds he has been our worst player after Brooks

we desperately need a fullback. Did Manu resign at Easts? I’d gladly offer him $1m+

A few other options would be CNK at Raiders who have Savage who will be replaced by Savage soon enough. Reece Walsh would be worth a lash but doubt we’d get him

Left field but Jake Connor from Hull FC looks absolutely class. He’s 27 but could be worth a look

Ah yes dear Gus. That was a very bad call by Gus. Thankfully the board did retify the situation, in the fullness of time. Sadly at W/T expense.

One thing that Hook did along with coaching staffs during that intervening period was get the players very fit.

Madge who was known as a fitness coach. At Wests Tigers he appears unable to repeat efforts achieved at previous clubs.

Now back to my original post. I could drag up (if I was so inclined) many posts hailing individual players as 'saviours'.

Then in the fullness of time these players are seen as flawed individuals, (as we all are)

And their fall from grace begins. I wonder how long does Hastings have ? and Api in 2023 before the rot sets in yet again.
