I still think he has a good shot of being a handy NRL player. I really dont know if he needs a kick in the arse and an attitude adjustment, or if the Tigers are just a talent vacuum. Maybe a bit of both. I say that with no real joy at the state your club is in. I've had more than enough of a taste from the state we were in for years to enjoy seeing others go through it.

I think Laurie will end up being a utility, and from everything he does, I wouldn't surprised if he goes back to Panthere after finishing contract at WT. His heart is there. I'd be putting To'a at FB, Hastings 7 and Madden 6 with Laurie as the bench utility to give him some time to find his feet again. Brooks can go to State Cup for a while if he continues with the less than stellar leading the team around. Liddle can do the 9 role.

Punting Laurie after two back to back poor performances is a bit pre-mature. Based off his form in 2021 I'm willing to give him benefit of the doubt for now.

The kid was pretty much our only positive last season & you want to punt him after a couple of bad performances? The entire team was diabolical, sure he had a shocker but he's a young kid still learning the trade. Who knows how that shit with the pokie story in the media messed with him? It's easy for us to say who cares it was a nothing story, but I guarantee it was playing with his head & it affected his preparation. This is only his second full season in first grade in a terrible team, cut him some slack.

Not really, was more involved I agree but he was reluctant under high balls and 16 runs for 85m from a fullback is very ordinary. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt this week in the context of an ordinary game.

Thanks. That certainly gives some food for thought on the hype we gave his signature and performance last year. Maybe he is yet another player where taken out of home squad and regime he just can't do the same at another club

Totally unsurprised by the stats.It was evident last season that he wasn’t up to it & this has been glaring over the last 4 wks.What really grates is that unearthing another turd or paps could take decades.

A couple of these guys are good players but not fullbacks. He’s never going to be a top 10 fullback (might make a decent 5/8). If Dolphins miss Ponga hopefully they want him
