To be fair, how much sh*t have we put on Bird for not passing (and rightly so)?

It's true
Bird is not a natural passer
He's a natural dummier, stepper, and hogger!

So it was particularly pleasing to see him throw a few yesterday, not as many as he could have, but an improvement none the less.

Sully darts from dummy half, drifting accross field a subtle foot or two to his left, draws two defenders and throws a perfectly timed floater right onto birds chest, who scores un-toched with a swan dive.

WArren smith in commentary " Lovely Ball to BIrd, Bird in the clear, HE'll score ! the sharks are carving up the knights ! "

Laurie Daley " Oh Dear, there was nothing special about that attack at all, thats the thing, the knights markers went to sleep there and were sucked in by the player drifting, that was just one out attack there "

It wasnt just direct negative things Daley said, he mainly down graded our performance, like beekershark showed. He really never said anything good about the sharks mainly just talking about what Knights did wrong and how IF they fixed it they could win the match

yeah

i am not sullys biggest fan but he did set up a great play there and should have been acknowledged

if that was johns we would have heard orgasms in the commentary box

I used to like Daley, but after listening to him yesterday, i have come to notice he is a dead set joke.. He was obviously bias for the Knights it was ridiculous..
Smith is usually the annoying one of the 2, but yesterday he seemed a bit better..
Daley though, that guys a joke..

I look forward to watching fox tonight to see what reactions appear from yesterday. Probally nothing though, as cronulla were lucky to win, cronulla have nothing and the knights are the champions of the league and have one of the greatest players in their stables currently eating sh#t doing nothing................total utter biased baloney from daley.

It will be interesting to see, it was funny how on two occasions in one game the commentators mentioned 'we will talk about this on NRL scoreboard' in relation to Lyons. Unusal two things pop up like that.

The first half was the worst after watching the replay. Always commenting on great plays by Newcastle and either silent or saying how bad Newcastle are when the Sharks do good things. Very biast.
