Billy Slater easy. Killed it this year. Origin series.. a country mile ahead of anyone.

Slater has done nothing all year tard,no chance of winning this award

Boyd and Coote were leaders when it went private, Hayne has had a couple of good games since.

Boyd for me has been the most consistent this season.

Hayne could finish very well though.

Pleanty of choice in this one.

I'd pick Coote ahead of Boyd, then Dugan and Hoffman. Hayne plainly cannot defend well enough to be picked in this category!

Well if the Dally M point meant something, Boyd.

But let's not forget that Farah had more points than Ennis. Ennis won hooker of the year.

Josh Dugan had more points than Idris. Idris won rookie of the year.

Boyd for sure, He was coming first for Dally M player of the year before they went behind close doors.

He will still probably be ahead for the Dally M player of the year although he has been quiet since.

If not Boyd it will be Slater, he must of scored alot of Dally M points in Origin

Slater is nowhere near up where he has been in previous seasons.

It's either Coote or Boyd for mine. I'd say Boyd will get it, didn't he have a good lead when voting when private?

Coote for me. Billy is a chance if Origin counts for anything, Boyd will most probably get it.

I think the person that deserves it is Darius Boyd, simply because all of the Dragons' attack centres around him essentially...(not a criticism at all Dragons fans; Panthers and Eels fans feel the same (Luke Walsh and Jarryd Hayne)) and also because he has been consistently brilliant this year.

Because the Dragons are in a form slump though, and Darius isn't on his A-game either, I would say it's a throw-up between these;
Lachlan Coote
Josh Dugan
Billy Slater
Jarryd Hayne

If not Boyd then definitely one of those four.....if Jarryd plays like he did at the end of last year from now on he'll win it pretty easily (also a mirror of who will get the Dally M medal).
If Jarryd goes quiet, then my tip would be Josh Dugan-Slater has been a husk of his former self (but not his fault at all), and Coote I think is just outclassed by Dugan.
